Triangular Scales & Triangular Rulers
An Architect's Triangular Scale is the same length as a regular 12" ruler, but with three sides that exhibit different increments of measurements. To use a Triangular Ruler, hold the trianglular scale so that its length is horizontally in front of you, then rotate it backwards while noticing that each side has four sets of completely different measurements. These Triangular Rulers are popular among architects, and those who need to draw to scale images.
